I am a Senior Programmer working in Glasgow.
Since March 2015 I have been working as a game developer with Valiant Interactive, a small independent company of which I am a founding member. Earlier this year we released Gyrodisc Super League on Steam early access. As the primary programmer in a very small team I have been working on a bit of everything, including User Interfaces, gameplay, Artificial Intelligence and asset loading. I have thoroughly enjoyed working on Gyrodisc, although working remotely can, at times, be a bit isolating.
I also worked for One Thumb Mobile from June of 2010 to April 2014 on the 3D mmorpg Celtic Heroes. During my Time at One Thumb I learned a great deal while working within a small team on the original iPhone version, and then working within a larger team on the Unity version of the game.
This is just a little place I’ve set aside to show some of the things I’ve worked on, it also allows me to go into a bit more detail than I could on the limited space of a CV. I would love to have more to put here however I have a bit of a tendency to give everything I have to the project I am working on which leaves little time to work on other things.

Gyrodisc Super League
I have been working as part of a small team on this fast passed arcade game since march 2015. I have also been involved in taking the product to various shows and events, it is incredibly rewarding seeing people enjoy something that you have worked so hard to create. During this time I have also had the opportunity to work in Maya LT while helping the artists with various 3D Modelling issues and I believe this will remain a strong interest for me for years to come.
Celtic Heroes
This was my life from June 2010 until April 2014. Working as part of the original small team at One Thumb Mobile allowed me to work on many aspects of the game on both client and server which was an amazing experience. I was able to see the company grow from a small team of 5 to a larger studio of almost 25 over the 4 Years I spent there. I am immensely proud of what we managed to achieve both with our small original team and, as the company grew, we continued to strive to create the best experience we could with whatever we had available.
QAT - Quick As Thieves
The Game that I worked on as part of the team "Five Armed Bandits" during Dare to be Digital 2009. I was the Audio and AI programmer for this project and we managed to win the audience award.
You can get a copy of the game here
MGE - Multiple Gravity Environment
This was the program I created during my honours project. The basic concept was to try to create a multiple gravity environment that would work with a commercial physics engine.
